Now Hiring: Forklift Operator / Inventory Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Inventory Specialist to assist with daily warehouse inventory counting and material handling. The ideal candidate must be experienced operating multiple types of forklifts and comfortable performing repetitive inventory tasks for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently.
- Use a PDA (handheld device) to perform daily inventory counts.
- Accurately count, track, and record inventory.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Perform repetitive and routine inventory-counting tasks for extended periods.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Requirements:
- Proficiency operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and cherry pickers.
- Experience using a PDA or handheld device for inventory counting.
- English-speaking ability is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Patience and the ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Pay: $19.00 per hour.
